Why did Paul write about head coverings and hairstyles?

Paul referred to cultural customs of dress and grooming in order to teach about the relationships between men, women, and the Lord.

While we do not follow these customs today, we can still learn from Paul’s declaration in 1 Corinthians 11:11 that men and women are both needed in the Lord’s plan, both in marriage and in the Church. 
1 Corinthians 11:11
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.11 అయితే ప్రభువునందు స్త్రీకి వేరుగా పురుషుడు లేడు పురుషునికి వేరుగా స్త్రీలేదు.

1 Corinthians 11:3–15
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.3 ప్రతి పురుషునికి శిరస్సు క్రీస్తనియు, స్త్రీకి శిరస్సు పురుషు డనియు, క్రీస్తునకు శిరస్సు దేవుడనియు మీరు తెలిసి కొనవలెనని కోరుచున్నాను.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.4 ఏ పురుషుడు తలమీదముసుకు వేసికొని ప్రార్థన చేయునో లేక ప్రవచించునో, ఆ పురుషుడు తన తలను అవమానపరచును.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.5 ఏ స్త్రీ తలమీద ముసుకు వేసికొనక ప్రార్థనచేయునో లేక ప్రవ చించునో, ఆ స్త్రీ తన తలను అవమానపరచును; ఏలయనగా అది ఆమెకు క్షౌరము చేయబడినట్టుగానే యుండును. 
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.6 స్త్రీ ముసుకు వేసికొననియెడల ఆమె తల వెండ్రుకలు కత్తిరించుకొనవలెను. కత్తిరించుకొనుటయైనను క్షౌరము చేయించు కొనుటయైనను స్త్రీ కవమానమైతే ఆమె ముసుకు వేసికొనవలెను.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.7 పురుషుడైతే దేవుని పోలికయు మహిమయునై యున్నాడు గనుక తలమీద ముసుకు వేసికొనకూడదు గాని స్త్రీ పురుషుని మహిమయై యున్నది.
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.8 ఏలయనగా స్త్రీ పురుషునినుండి కలిగెనే గాని పురుషుడు స్త్రీనుండి కలుగలేదు. 
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.9 మరియు స్త్రీ పురుషునికొరకే గాని పురుషుడు స్త్రీకొరకు సృష్టింప బడలేదు. 
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.10 ఇందువలన దేవదూతలనుబట్టి అధికార సూచన స్త్రీకి తలమీద ఉండవలెను.
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.11 అయితే ప్రభువునందు స్త్రీకి వేరుగా పురుషుడు లేడు పురుషునికి వేరుగా స్త్రీలేదు.
12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.12 స్త్రీ పురుషునినుండి ఏలాగు కలిగెనో ఆలాగే పురుషుడు స్త్రీ మూలముగా కలిగెను, గాని సమస్తమైనవి దేవునిమూలముగా కలిగియున్నవి. 
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?13 మీలో మీరే యోచించుకొనుడి; స్త్రీ ముసుకులేనిదై దేవుని ప్రార్థించుట తగునా? 
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?14 పురుషుడు తల వెండ్రుకలు పెంచుకొనుట అతనికి అవమానమని స్వభావసిద్ధముగా మీకు తోచును గదా? 
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.15 స్త్రీకి తల వెండ్రుకలు పైటచెంగుగా ఇయ్యబడెను గనుక ఆమె తలవెండ్రుకలు పెంచుకొనుట ఆమెకు ఘనము.
